"The trust in Netanyahu is very important"

In an exclusive interview for Srugim News, Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of Zion Museum and a member of the Trump Evangelical Advisory, said that the "trust factor" world leaders currently have with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is one of the most important factors in Israel's upcoming general elections, due to take place on September 17th.

When asked who he would vote for in the elections, Evans said that "You vote for moral clarity. You can't vote for words or personalities. you have to vote for actions, and the one who has the most moral clarity should be the one that leads. I can tell you who I believe President Donald Trump has already voted for- Benjamin 'Bibi' Netanyahu".

"He trusts him, and the trust factor is very important. Putin trusts him, China trusts him, the gulf Sunni states trust him" Evans added. "If you don't have trust, you're in trouble in Israel. A country like Iran won't bother you with Hezbollah if Russia and China stand up to them, or if Trump stand up to them, so you need big friends – and those friendships come through trust".

According to Evans, "No president in American history has ever done as much for Israel as Donald Trump. He has a gold team- [senior advisor] Jared Kushner, [special representative] Jason Greenblatt, and [ambassador to Israel] David Friedman. Israel is in an incredible position if they don't make a mistake in leadership".

He also noted the similarities between Trump and Netanyahu, claiming that "You have a partnership right now. I know both men very well – they are very similar. Their heroes are Churchill and Reagan, they are both strong men who don't play to the crowds. if there is anything Netanyahu is guilty of, it's not kissing behinds. Donald Trump is just like that. Neither of them need friends, they lead because it is the right thing. They are strong leaders. If Israel makes a mistake and breaks that bond, God knows what that will do, because trust is everything".

In response to comments about the US' relationship with Iran, Evans attacked the Iranian leadership and called them "Jew haters with weapons". "Almost every Israeli who has been killed in over 20 thousand attacks has been funded by Iran through Hamas and Hezbollah" he explained. "We dont want any kind of hugs and kisses from these devils – we want them bankrupted".
